Since I've been using Google Analytics in May 2009, I average below 20,000 page views per month with that spike in January 2011 coming from when I hosted the guest fiction from CCP Headfirst.
I also took a second to find the list of participants from the very first Blog Banter Crazy Kinux hosted back on October 29, 2008:
Participants:
- CrazyKinux's Musing: Exotic Dancers, Corporate Meetings & more
- The Wandering Druid of Tranquility: Ambulation - what I hope to see
- Semper EVE: Ambulation and Me
- Roc's Ramblings: Blog Banter #1 - Ambulation
- The Ralpha Dogs: Ambulation/Walking in Stations: A "Second Life" for EVE?
- Drunk in Space: Look at how much weight he put on…
- Diving into PsycheDiver's Psyche: Ambulation and Her
- Inner Sanctum of the Ninveah: Eve Blog Banter - Ambulation

Food for thought.
Nice to see I'm throwing some significant traffic your way. I always feel weird talking about numbers, tbh I'm not sure why. Sad how many blogs are gone though, some of my all-time favorites are in that list.
ReplyDeleteI used to do a monthly roundup but also felt weird about it. I figured a one off is ok this time ;)
ReplyDeleteOh sure, I didn't say that to make you feel bad m8. It probably is extremely interesting to other bloggers and even non-bloggers.
ReplyDeleteI understand the weird feeling regarding posting such stats as it may just feel like bragging or belittling to smaller bloggers (Oh, God! My blog is such a failure when compared to these numbers.), but I find this very interesting to see. It's also gives hope to us smaller bloggers of one day not being such a failure.
